Insley Is New Zealand Champion |

Shaun Insley had the biggest night of his Midget Car racing career last night at Spring Speedway taking the 2008 New Zealand Midget Car Championship. The win sees Aggressor claim both major titles of the southern hemisphere with Insley’s victory coming just weeks after Davey Ray claimed the Australian title. Fellow Aggressor campaigner Bill Clarkson Jnr took the 2nd place spot over long time campaigner Tony Fabish. The night also saw two other trophies added to the rapidly growing Aggressor trophy cabinet with Brad Mosen taking 2nd place in the Springs National Midget Series behind winner Michael Pickens. Scott Buckley rounded out the top three with an outstanding season cementing his position as a regular front runner. |

2008 Australian Midget Car Champion |
Davey Ray dove an amazing racelast night to take out the 2008 Australian Midget Car Championship last night at the Perth Motorplex.
Davey started from grid 15 in the final only to be spun and put to the rear of the field in the early stages of the race.
Fellow countryman Jerry Coons Jnr looked to have the championship in the bag as he took the white flag however a flat tyre opened the door for Ray to claim his second Australian title , both of which have come at the wheel on an Aggressor.
Local Scott Glazebrook came home second with young American Anthony Peterman third. Shaun Insley was the first New Zealand driver home finishing 7th in his #69 Aggressor. |

2 & 3 At North Island Champs |
Graham Standring took top honors in the North Island Title last weekend at Gisborne Speedway chased home by the Aggressors of Brad Mosen and Shaun Insley.
Gisbourne were treated to a spectacle as the cream of the midget class put on a show averaging 105kph around the quarter mile clay oval. Heat two saw Shane Alach set a new track record of 13.018 seconds in his Aggressor modified Breka Chassis. Watch the final heat of the North Island Midget Championship on YouTube. |

Brown Dogg is the Magic Man |

Mark “Brown Dog” Brown dominated last night at the Perth Motorplex for the first running of the Magic Man 34. Brown had a night that the best in the business could hope for, winning two heats, setting fast time and starting on pole in the $12,000 to win A main event. Brown led from flag to flag leaving the pack chasing as he cruised to victory. Second place went to Todd Waddell who started beside Brown on the front row. Dean McAllen rounded out the top three. |

Kuhn And Ray Campaign Aggressors |
Brad Kuhn wrapped up the international series with two thirds and a win in round 3 in an Aggressor/ Pink Ford.
This topped off a successful tour for Kuhn who also won the World 40 Lap King Of The Springs. Kuhns other results included two second places in the feature events of rounds one and two and a second place in the World 50 Lapper.
Davey Ray also featured in his Aggressor fitted with a new Synergy 2400 winning round one of the international series before suffering gear failure in the following rounds. |
